The bill to spend billions on Pennsylvania's roads, bridges and mass transit cleared its final legislative hurdle yesterday and is on its way to Governor Tom Corbett for his signature. The House voted to increase gas taxes and motorist fees creating $2.3 billion in additional funding.

The Nutter administration has decided to appeal the amusement tax decision on lap dances at gentlemen’s clubs to Common Pleas Court. Nutter lost an attempt to collect 5% tax on the cost of every lap dance inside the clubs. The Tax Review Board determined the amusement tax should only apply to the price of admission. The strip clubs are determined to fight the Appeal.
