The Pennsylvania SPCA says that Humane Law Enforcement Officers are investigating a possible case of cat hoarding at the former home of Grace Kelly. Officers served a warrant at the home on the 3900 block of Henry Avenue in Philadelphia’s East Falls section. They were only allowed into the house's foyer but found evidence of hoarding, including several cat remains. A complaint was received on the on the PSPCA cruelty hotline. The home was owned by Grace Kelly's mother, Margaret Kelly, until 1970.

Officials at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ have announced plans to erect a 300-ft tall observation tower. The Skyview Tower will rise 25 stories above the riverside aquarium. It is being built as an attraction promising spectacular views of the riverfront. Officials expect to attract 150,000 visitors a year. It will also transform Camden's skyline becoming one of the tallest structures in the city. Only City Hall at just over 300 feet is comparable. It will be build entirely with private funds and will be done in the Spring of 2015.

Armed robbers, all wearing Halloween masks from the movie Scream, made off with $310,000 after a calculated mid-morning armored car heist in Northeast Philadelphia. It happened outside a Wells Fargo branch at Frankford Avenue and Rhawn Street in the Holmesburg section around 10 am. A Garda armored truck was in the parking lot unloading. Two robbers carrying long guns 'blindsided' the driver and made off with the large amount of cash. A third man was waiting in a green minivan and they all took off together. That van was ditched several blocks away, where officials say they changes cars to a gold Pontiac Bonneville. That car was also ditched. Police and FBI are investigating each scene. Video surveillance from various sources is also been analyzed.
