A teenage girl was struck and killed by two vehicles while walking to the bus stop this morning in Vineland, NJ. She has been identified as 14-year-old Alexa Strittmatter. She died at the scene of the crash on South Main Road between Magnolia Road and East Elmer Road at 6:45 a.m. Her brother and sister were also walking to the bus when she was hit. She was a freshman at Vineland High School North.

Police are looking for a man who to tried to abduct a 9-year-old girl in front of her mother. It happened today before noon outside the Frankford Avenue Health Center in the 4500 block of Frankford Avenue. The girl was standing with her mother and her mother's friend when the man walked up and asked if the girl was 'old enough to date.' He then grabbed the girl and asked again. The mother yelled back and was able to get the man to take off. Police are looking at surveillance in the area. The suspect is described as a white man in his late 50s or early 60s. He was carrying a black school bag with one strap across his body. He was wearing a blue denim jacket, was hunched over, and walked with a limp. Anyone with information is urged to contact Philadelphia Police.
