Mayor Nutter and over 100 others went over the edge yesterday, descending the side of a 31-story high-rise on a rope for charity. Local celebrities and dignitaries who were able to raise at least $2000 received a lesson then donned a helmet and harness before leaning backward over the side of the building. It took place atop One Logan Square, at 18th and Cherry Streets. Some workers in the building got a surprise as these adventurers rappelled past their windows. Most participants would say that after getting past the intitial heart pounding fear the rest is easy and fun. Some took as long at 20 minutes to make their way down; Nutter only took 10 minutes. The event raised money for Outward Bound Philadelphia.

Police are investigating a brawl that occurred outside of Xfinity Live! in South Philadelphia early Saturday morning between two groups of partiers. The fight occurred at 12:30 am in a parking lot at 11th and Pattison Ave near the sports complex. Police say that a group of males from Temple University got into a fight with another group of males. Before officers stationed at Xfinity Live! could respond the students headed towards the subway stop at Broad and Pattison. The other group got into a red SUV and chased after them. The SUV jumped the curb and cut the students off. Another fight then broke out and this time a bat was pulled out. The students hoped on a bus and the others drove off possible with a flat tire. There were no reports of injuries. Police are looking into any security cameras that might have captured the incident.

A body has been found under a tarp near a wooded area in Bucks County. The decomposed corpse was discovered around 4pm by a man who was walking on a trail near an abandoned industrial park on M-Y Lane in Morrisville. Police do not know if the body is male or female but do say the the person's death is suspicious. The investigation has only just begun.
