Philadelphia SVU investigators are looking for man who raped a teenage girl in North Philly last week. Police say the teen was stopped at a red light in the Olney section when the man jumped into her car and pointed a gun at her. He then made her drive to an isolated area of the 5900 block of N 21st Street before pulling her from car and raping her. He fled northbound on 21st street. Authorities have released a detailed sketch of the suspect. He is described as a black male, 20 to 30 years old, standing 6'2" tall and weighing 210 pounds. He was wearing a NIKE sweatshirt, blue jeans and leather gloves. He has a star tattoo on the side of his neck. Anyone with information is asked to contact Philadelphia Police at 215-686-TIPS or SVU Det. Taylor at 215-685-3251.

Philadelphia Police had a gruesome discovery following a car fire early this morning. It occurred on the 5500 block of Paschall Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia around 3:30 a.m. Monday. A man was found dead in the back seat of that burning car with a bag over his head and bound with duct tape. His remains were burned beyond recognition and no identity has been made. Investigators will have to wait for the medical examiner to determine a cause of death and perhaps aid in identification of the body. Police have retrieved surveillance footage from nearby. The incident is still under investigation.

A man in Delaware has been arrested after a hit and run involving a horse and rider and his motorcycle. It happened Sunday on Chaplains Chapel Road south of Deer Forest Road in Bridgeville, Delaware at around 6:50pm. A Bridgeville woman was riding her 16-year-old quarter horse “Chance” on Chaplains Chapel Road. Upon entering the road the sound of an approaching motorcycle startled and froze the horse. The motorcyclist, Roosevelt S. Williams, hit the brakes and slid along the road and into the horse. Williams got up, refused assistance, and took off on the bike. Police spotted Williams 15 minutes later who then led them on a high speed chase up to 100 mph. Eventually they took him into custody, finding he had 3.2 grams of synthetic marijuana in his possession. He was charged over 70 traffic violations, including Reckless Driving, Aggressive Driving, Disregarding a Police Officers Signal, Resisting Arrest and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The woman rider was only slightly injured and Chance was not injured.
