Tonight the NFL regular season kicks off in Denver Colorado. Outside the Bronco's stadium, a billboard has been put up by the reform group, The Marijuana Policy Project challenging the NFL to change its policy on pot. The message reads, "Stop driving players to drink" and promotes marijuana, now legal in Colorado, as a safer choice.

Rapper ASAP Rocky has been charged with misdemeanor simple assault for slapping a woman while he was performing in Philadelphia's Made in America concert Labor Day weekend. According to the complaint filed yesterday, ASAP was making his way through the crowd while several girls pulled on his shirt, when he turned and slapped the woman in the face.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie says he is not giving up on the Opportunity Scholarship Act, a school voucher program turned down by Legislature. Christie says it is still #1 on his priority list. He says it’s important to give parents an option in areas where the public schools are failing.
