A public hearing is on for today with state officials and city labor leaders on hand to discuss the deadly building collapse last month in Center City. Six people died and 13 were hurt when a wall collapsed on the Salvation Army store at 22nd and Market Streets. Today’s hearing will is at the Independence Seaport Museum at Penn’s Landing.

If you are heading for the Wildwood boardwalk, pull up your pants. Today marks the beginning of a ban on pants that sag more than three inches below the waist, often exposing underwear, boxers, or worse. Violators will be hit with a $25 fine for a first offense and can be fined up to $200 for further violations.

Hillary Clinton is visiting Bryn Mawr College today. The former Secretary of State is speaking as part of the school’s “Women in Public Service Project Institute.” Clinton launched the program in 2011 for female leaders from post-conflict countries across the world.

Sports
The Phillies host the Washington Nationals tonight.

Weather
Isolated thunderstorms today. 90 in Center City.
