Collingdale, PA Police are asking for the public's help in locating a woman who has been missing since last Friday, April 19th. Melissa Rodriguez has not been seen or heard from since then.

According to her husband, Jose Rodriguez, she told him that she was going to Newark, NJ to visit friends for the weekend. When he did not hear from her after the weekend, he sent a text on Monday the 22nd but did not get a response. Their children's school called to say she never came to pick them up and Rodriguez did not show up for a new job she was supposed to start on Monday.

At around noon on Thursday, April 18th, Melissa Rodriguez called her friends to tell them she'd be coming to visit. Her friends were expecting to get another call around 3pm on Friday the 19th to tell them she had arrived at the train station and needed a ride, but they never got the call.

None of her family, friends, or colleagues have spoken to her since last week. Her car is still at her home in Collingdale. Rodriguez is described as a Hispanic female, 5’5”, 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a yellow flowered dress and glasses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact either the Collingdale Police at 610-586-0502 or Delaware County CID at 610-891-4700.

A Facebook page has been set up with information and update:

UPDATE 4/29: Melissa Rodriguez is still missing. Her husband has stopped talking to police and has hired a lawyer. Melissa and jose are in the process of separating.
