A man fell onto the tracks of a subway line in Philadelphia when the 63 year old inadvertently wandered off the platform at the Cecil B. Moore stop. Thanks to the bravery of Christopher Knafelc who saw it happen, the man is alive today. Knafelc notified SEPTA to stop the trains then jumped onto the tracks to administer CPR.

The cash strapped Philadelphia school system is requesting millions from the city and the state. In an effort to balance the budget, the district has closed two dozen schools and is hoping 10% salary cuts will be agreed to but still needs $242 million to make ends meet.

Two sisters are among the eight charged in the sexual assault that occurred in the woods in Cape May County say the accusations against them are completely false. Eighteen year old Britney Hearon and her 16 year old sister claim they found the 14 year old victim in the woods and helped her out.

Sports
The Flyers lost in a shootout to the Islanders 4-3. And after a great tournament run, LaSalle was eliminated by Wichita State 72-58.
