The family of fallen Plymouth Township police officer, Brad Fox, welcomed new baby, Brad Fox Jr. (pictured) to the world this week. Officer Fox was killed in September after a hit-and-run that killed him and injured his K-9 partner. Fox served two tours in Iraq and 7 years as a police officer. His wife Linsay and Brad Jr. are resting comfortably.

The Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts kicked off and runs through April 27th at various locations around the city. This year’s theme is “If You Had a Machine” and explores time travel through music, arts, children’s activities and dance. The grand finale is scheduled to be a 5 block fair on Broad Street with music, arts and a Ferris wheel.

The murder trial of Philadelphia abortion doctor, Kermit Gosnell ended week 2 with the city medical examiner Gary Collins defending his decision to change the death certificate of a Gosnell patient from accidental to homicide. Gosnell’s defense suggests Collins was influenced by evidence and information from the District Attorney’s office.
