Marcus Hook Mayor Charged, Quantico Shooting, Delaware Minors Arrested in Car Jacking

Marcus Hook Mayor James "Jay" Schiliro (pictured) has been asked to step down after being charged with various crimes. On February 21st the mayor allegedly ordered police to bring a 20 year old to his house where the mayor gave him wine and offered to perform oral sex on the minor 20 to 30 times. In a frustrated, alcohol fueled rage the mayor fired a 9 mm hand gun into a wall while his 13 year old daughter slept upstairs. The mayor denies charges and has decided to run for re-election.

Three people are dead following a shooting at the Marine Corps base at the Officer Candidates School in Quantico, Virginia. A Staff member at the officer candidate school killed a male and female colleague then took his own life. The first male Marine was shot at 11 last night. Authorities found the suspect and a female Marine dead in a barracks on the base. A A relationship dispute is believed to be behind the shooting. The three were staff members and not students. The base was on lockdown during the incident but is back to normal operations.

Delaware police have arrested five minors accused of car-jacking an 89 year old woman, robbing her and locking her in the trunk. Margaret E. Smith was reported missing by her family, concerned about her medical condition. Smith was found confused and suffering from exposure wandering around a cemetery. She was taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. Police arrested the youths in her car at a traffic stop.
