PHILADELPHIA - The man who breathed life into Philadelphia's "Magic 103" in the 1980's will host a weekly 2 hour program starting this Sunday, March 10th on iRadioPhilly. "Sunday Morning Magic" on iRadioPhilly will feature the softer side of rock and smooth jazz by artists like Sade, Billy Joel, Linda Ronstadt, Fleetwood Mac, Carly Simon and Steely Dan. Sunday Morning Magic with Bob Craig will air Sundays from 8 am to 10 am on iRadioPhilly’s 70’s station, Bell Bottoms. Listeners can tune in on the website at www.iRadioPhilly.com or on FREE smartphone Apps for iPhone and Android.

“Sunday Morning Magic on iRadioPhilly will feature softer sounds,” says Bob Craig. “Many great songs and artists have disappeared from FM radio over the years. iRadioPhilly is giving me the opportunity to bring them back and showcase the sound that was so popular with baby boomers. Sunday Morning Magic will feature some nice surprises and is a perfect way to start Sunday.”

Bob Craig came to Philadelphia in 1979 to take over as Program Director of WMGK and within one year turned “Magic 103” into one of the most popular radio stations in Philadelphia radio history. The ratings catapulted from a 2.9 audience share to 9.0 and Magic became a model for the entire radio industry. Under Bob Craig, WMGK remained among the top 3 stations in the coveted 25-54 audience demographic through the 1980’s. While at WMGK, Craig introduced Philadelphia to Smooth Jazz with a popular Sunday morning program.

In the 1990’s, Bob Craig was an air personality on Adult Standards 950 WPEN and joined the air staff at Jazz station WRTI in 2005. In 2007 Bob Craig brought his “Solid Hour of Sinatra” program to 1340 AM WHAT.
