Oscar Pistorius Bail Hearing, Credit Card Skimmers, Body Found in Wissahickon Creek

Blade Runner Oscar Pistorius appeared in court, weeping at his bail hearing. His attorney says the Olympian shot his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp by accident thinking she was an intruder. The double amputee pumped four bullets through the locked bathroom door. Then he broke the door down when he noticed she was not in bed.

Credit card skimmers racked up over $1,000 on a Philadelphia woman’s credit card before she realized there was a shopping spree happening on her account. To prevent it from happening to you, Police suggest taking a closer look at the card slot when using your credit card – supermarket, gas station, ATM. If it looks like an extra device is attached don’t use it. And report it. And cover the PIN pad when you use it.

A body pulled from Wissahickon Creek on Saturday has now been identified as David Taundi, a 33 year old bank employee from Roxborough. Apparently, Taundi was in an auto accident on Henry Avenue near Lincoln Drive. Police are investigating how Taundi ended up in the creek.
