The Phillies pitchers and catchers will report to Spring Training in Clearwater Florida next week. But today their equipment starts the trip to the sunshine state. The team equipment truck loaded with bats, balls, gloves and uniforms will leave Citizen’s Bank Park today for the two day trip to Clearwater.

An SUV crashed through a cyclone fence at Philadelphia International Airport this morning, however police do not believe it was an act of terrorism. The woman driving the vehicle lost control of her car and did not make the turn where Scott Way meets Tinicum Island Way. No one was injured and the driver was not intoxicated.

Saturday mail delivery will soon be a thing of the past according to the U.S. Postal Service. In a cost cutting measure that will save $2 billion a year, Saturday mail delivery will end beginning in August. However, package delivery, which has been a growing sector for the Post Office, will continue six days a week.
