Bartender Identity Confirmed, Stolen Cash Register, Nine Philly Judges Indicted

Hunterdon County investigators confirmed the woman’s body pulled from the D&R Canal in Lambertville, New Jersey is the missing bartender, Sarah Majoras. According to Prosecutor Anthony Kearns. All indications are that her death was a tragic accident. The case will remain open so factual information can be provided to the family.

Philadelphia Police are searching for a man who stole a cash register from the Pathmark supermarket on the 7700 block of Crittenden Street. The incident was captured on video as it happened about 1:30 am Wednesday. The man went behind the customer service counter, pried the cigarette case open, took a few cartons, then grabbed the cash register which contained an undetermined amount of cash.

Nine Philadelphia Traffic Court Judges were indicted today after a three year investigation by the FBI regarding ticket fixing. Two out of the three current judges were charged, Michael Lowry and Michael Sullivan, as well as 5 former judges. The probe exposed routine fixing of tickets for connected individuals while regular citizens paid for infractions.
