Allen Iverson has reached a divorce settlement with Tawanna Iverson. AI will pay a lump sum of $3 million plus child support. They have three children from their marriage 12 years ago. The settlement concludes a long battle that included allegations of infidelity, concealing money and restraining orders.

No cycling championship in Philadelphia this year. A statement on the website of the Philadelphia International Cycling Championship says they hope the event will return to the Manayunk Wall and the rest of the city in 2014, giving organizers’ sales and planning team time to line up new sponsors needed to make the event happen. The event started here in 1985 and attracted hundreds of thousands of spectators.

Officials say a cat caused a power outage and fire at a high rise apartment that forced the evacuation of more than 100 families in West Philadelphia. Fox 29 reported that a blown transformer cut the power to 116 families forcing them out into the cold. Three buildings on the 4400 block of Holden Street were affected and the residents were evacuated to West Philadelphia High School. No word on the status of the cat.
