Missing Natalie Woollerton in Ocean City; NTSB Investigates in Paulsboro; Suspicious Death in Philly

Police in Ocean City, NJ are still searching for a missing autistic teen. 16-year-old Natalie Woollerton was reported missing Wednesday. Natalie was last seen driving a light blue, four door, 2009 IS 250 Lexus sedan with a temporary New Jersey registration P101925. The car may also have a second license plate SL487K and accident damage to the rear of the car. Natalie is familiar with her own area but might become confused while driving on highways or if approached by unknown people. She has been described as a 5-foot-7, white female weighing about 150 lbs. with brown hair and eyes. Police are asking anyone with information to call 609-399-9111.

The NTSB has launched their own investigation into the bridge collapse and train derailment in Paulsboro, NJ early Friday morning that caused Vinyl chloride to leak into the surrounding air and water. The train left Camden at 3 am and approached the bridge just before 7 am. When it reached the bridge the conductor saw the swing bridge was in a closed position but it also had a red signal for the train. He did a visual inspection of the bridge and tried three more times to send the code for a green signal but it did not work. The train got approval from dispatch to proceed despite the red light. The two locomotives and a number of cars crossed the bridge successfully before the bridge collapsed, derailing seven cars, four of them into the water, and rupturing one releasing the chemicals. The train was only going about 8 miles an hour at the time. This is the preliminary information they know from interviewing the personnel involved. The NTSB still has a lot of questions to answer. They have downloaded data from the locomotives and will certainly pour over the inspection reports and information from the derailment and reconstruction at the bridge in 2009. As the cleanup continues they will also be able to literally uncover more clues as they lift up the cars.

Police are investigating a â€œsuspicious deathâ€ of a 5 year old North Philadelphia boy who was found unresponsive at home last night. They were called to the boy's home at the West Poplar Apartments on the 600 block of North 13th Street shortly before 1:30 a.m. His mother said she just found him. He was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital by medics and pronounced dead at 1:27 am. Police said the boy's body had bruises. It is being considered â€œsuspiciousâ€ because there is not a clear reason why the boy died. No arrests have been made and investigators are waiting on the medical examiner's report that will have a cause of death.
