Andy Reid Not Quitting, Meek Mill Upsets Judge, Twinkie Still Alive

At his Monday press conference, Andy Reid admitted his leadership isn’t good enough. But he will not step down, saying that would be a cop-out, adding that’s not the way he’s wired. Reid said that the team and owner Jeffrey Lurie are disappointed with their production this season. And that they would continue to battle.

Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill was back in court today for a status hearing on his prior gun and drug charges. Apparently the judge was not happy with the rapper who, earlier this month, told the judge he missed a court appearance because he was trapped in New York after Hurricane Sandy. That same day, Meek Mill was pulled over in Philadelphia, detained in a jail cell, and tweeted a picture about the incident. Meek Mill will be put on restricted travel when his tour ends next month.

The Twinkie is not quite dead yet. A bankruptcy judge is pushing for mediation between parent company Hostess and its union. The judge feels mediation is a critical step before selling off all the assets. Hostess employs thousands nationally and several hundred at its plant in Northeast Philadelphia.
