Nor'easter Track Could Bring Snow, Election Day Concerns, Mistrial for Kensington Rapist

The Jersey shore may catch a little break in the weather tomorrow. The Nor'easter threatening the coastline could possibly weaken a bit. The storm, headed this way from Florida may veer further offshore than earlier predicted. What that means is less wind and rain, however gusts may still reach 50 miles per hour at the shore tomorrow afternoon. For Philadelphia and the I-95 corridor, a mix of rain and snow is possible.

Election Day has been busy around the Philadelphia region with many precincts reporting above normal voter turnout. In a polling place at Northeast Philadelphia's Ben Franklin Elementary School, a judge ordered a wall mural of President Obama covered. In New Jersey the deadline for online voting has been extended to Thursday for displaced residents. And a voting booth that credited Obama votes to Mitt Romney was removed, repaired and returned to service.

The jury in the trial of the Kensington rapist has declared itself deadlocked. Thirty-two year old Marcos Camacho is accused of raping three women and attempting to rape a fourth last November. The deadlock prompted Judge Barbara McDermott to declare a mistrial. A status hearing is scheduled for December 20th and Camacho will likely be retried next year.

Weather
Mostly cloudy tonight as the election returns come in. 36 in Philadelphia.
