Terror averted. A 21 year old Bangladeshi man was arrested yesterday by the FBI for his plot to blow up the Federal Reserve Bank in New York. The man, Quazi Mohammad Nafis, arrived in the U.S. in January to carry out a terrorist attack using a weapon of mass destruction to avenge the killing of Osama Bin Laden. In a sting operation, the FBI gave the bomber inert materials to build what the terrorist thought was a 1,000 pound car bomb.

A Cheltenham high school student was killed when she was struck by a vehicle in traffic as she was walking to school. According to AAA Mid Atlantic, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says October is the deadliest month for pedestrians. The riskiest time is 3 pm to 6 pm, while school busses are unloading children. Extra caution on the part of pedestrians and drivers is encouraged.

What killed Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid?s son, Garrett Reid? Today the toxicology report is being released with answers. Speculation was that drugs were involved. Garrett Reid was 29 years old and found dead in a dorm room at Lehigh University during the Eagles? training camp.
