Arlen Specter Funeral, NJ Voter Deadline, Sex Offender Arrested at Library

Funeral services are being held this afternoon for Arlen Specter. Specter died Sunday at home from complications of non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He was 82. Specter was the longest-serving U.S. Senator in Pennsylvania history. Funeral services started at noon at Har Zion Temple in Penn Valley and were open to the public.

Today is the deadline to register to vote in New Jersey. If you want to vote in the general election on November 6th. In addition to the Obama - Romney decision, New Jersey voters will decide the senate race between incumbent U.S. Senator Bob Menendez and Republican challenger, Joe Kyrillos. Get voter applications at and get it postmarked today.

A sex offender was arrested after an incident Saturday at the Willingboro Public Library. Parents called police to the library when they noticed a man following children around the library. Police found the man, 44 year old Robert Custodio of Eastampton at a computer in the Young Adult Section viewing inappropriate content online. He was charged with harassment and Failure to Register as a sex offender under Megan's Law.
