The reward is $35,000 and the manhunt continues today for the man who gunned down Philadelphia Police Officer Moses Walker Saturday. Walker was shot in what investigators believe was a robbery gone bad as Walker was walking to the bus on his way home after his shift at 20th and Cecil B. Moore. Office Walker will be buried with full police honors.

Another victim of West Nile Virus has been confirmed in the Philadelphia area. A 54 year old woman in Bucks County is the eighth confirmed case of the mosquito-borne West Nile virus in Pennsylvania this year. The Bucks County woman is in good condition and not hospitalized. Last week, health officials reported 2 Delaware County men had contracted West Nile.

There is a public hearing downtown today on a plan for Amtrak to build a high speed bullet rail system that would get you from Philadelphia to New York in 37 minutes. Stops in Philadelphia would include 30th Street and the airport. A third stop in Center City is also being considered.

Sports
The Phillies welcome the Cincinnati Reds to town tonight to open a 10 game home stand.

The Eagles are in New England to play the Patriots in a pre-season game tonight

Weather
Mostly cloudy today. 78 in Philadelphia.
