A ban on drilling in Bucks and Montgomery counties until 2018 has some Marcellus Shale region lawmakers steamed, claiming favoritism. Supporters of the ban claim the ban is only to allow time to more thoroughly study the formation and impact of potential drilling in these areas.

Many vacationers have left South Jersey, unable to cope with the loss of power from Friday's storms. And last night, a home in Mays Landing was badly damaged by a fire started by a candle. The owner had been using candles in the absence of power and fell asleep. More than 70,000 are still in the dark. Many won?t get power back until Friday.

Police in Gloucester County have arrested a man for allegedly shooting and killing his wife. The shooting happened around 11:30 last night at a home on Sherwood Lane in Glassboro. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating.
