A psychologist testified for the defense in the trial of Jerry Sandusky. He told the court that after his examination of the defendant he believes he has a personality disorder that is characterized by excessive emotionality and attention seeking. Elliot Atkins told jurors that after interviewing Sandusky it is his belief that the former football coach has “histrionic personality disorder” which might explain his inappropriate seductive behavior and need for attention from his accusers.

Mum was the word again the landmark clergy sex-abuse case. The jurors deliberated for a 11th day with no verdict. There has not been any word about a struggle for a verdict, however, and they will return to court tomorrow.

Five-time Wing Bowl champion William “El Wingador” Simmons was busted last Friday on cocaine charges. He was charged with 1st degree drug distribution after he was found in possesion of about $8000 worth of coke and $4000 in cash inside his wrapped Wingador Kia Soul. Simmons, 50, of Woodbury Heights, NJ finished third in this year's wing eating event eating 250 buffalo wings. He is being held on $100,000 bail at the Gloucester County Jail. “It is regrettable that Mr. Simmons’ notoriety has taken a negative turn. However, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office works closely with other law enforcement agencies to stop the significant distribution of controlled dangerous substances that is reflected in the charges against him,” said Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean F. Dalton.

In Sports, Phillies second baseman Freddy Galvis has been suspended 50 games after testing positive for a banned substance.

Tonight, Partly Cloudy with temperatures in the 70's. Excessive Heat warning for tomorrow in Philadelphia.
