Bob Welch Commits Suicide, Rally for Religious Freedom, Teens Prefer Pot over Cigarettes

Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Welch is dead. Welch died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest at his home in Nashville. Bob Welch also enjoyed a solo career that included hits, Sentimental Lady in 1977 and Ebony Eyes in 1978. Welch left a suicide note and had been dealing with health issue

Today at noon rallies got underway in cities across the country opposing new guidelines that require health insurers to cover contraception costs. The Nationwide Rally for Religious Freedom is taking place in Trenton, Cape May and 150 other cities. They feel the requirement is a violation of religious freedom.

A new study from the CDC finds that more teenagers are smoking pot than cigarettes. According to the study, in the last 30 days 18 percent of teens smoked cigarettes while 23 percent smoked marijuana. Teenagers say they believe smoking pot is less dangerous to their health than cigarettes.
