Teachers in Neshaminy School District are on strike for the second time this school year. The strike can only last 10 days so the school year can’t extend beyond June 30th. However, seniors were scheduled to start exams today. They will be exempt from finals because of the strike and graduate on schedule.

Jury deliberations resume today in the landmark clergy abuse trial. The jury deliberated for a few hours on Friday then submitted a list of requests to the judge including documents discussed in the case and a clarification of the charges.

PA lawmakers are in the final session weeks before they break for the summer. Their agenda includes passing a new budget and legislation to privatize liquor sales. The state Senate has passed a budget bill that restored many of the education cuts proposed by Governor Corbett.
