Police have arrested the man who threw a cup of scalding hot coffee at a donut shop employee. The incident was all caught on surveillance cameras. 52-year-old David Timbers turned himself in.

The accident on 309 North yesterday left 2 people dead after their car stalled in the middle lane. The 54 year old woman and 20 year old man were pushing their vehicle toward the shoulder when they were crushed by another vehicle.

Philadelphia Councilman-at-large Bill Green is proposing an alternate tax increase plan to Mayor Nutter’s controversial property tax proposal. Green’s plan shifts more of the burden from homeowners to commercial and industrial property owners.
