A man has been charged with murder after he shot and killed the mother of his child in a Wawa in Delaware County on Thursday night, 3/28. It happened around 8:20 p.m. at the store located at 151 Sugartown Road in Radnor. 34-year-old Brian Kennedy of Devon is charged with first and third-degree murder, criminal homicide, and related charges. Kennedy was supposed to meet his ex-wife, 37-year-old Stephanie Miller, at the store for a scheduled custody exchange of their child. Instead, Kennedy showed up without the child, entered the store with an AR-15 type rifle, shot Miller multiple times, and then fled in his BMW. Miller died from the attack. Police tracked Kennedy down to Thornbury Park in Glen Mills. He was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center to be treated for a suspected drug overdose. Three years ago, Kennedy was arrested for threatening to kill Miller at this same Wawa store. He had a protective order placed on him that expired last September. Delaware County DA Kat Copeland said, "With an AR-15 he brutally murdered the mother of his child. In a public place in cold blood, placing numerous others at risk."

Officials in Bucks County have released the causes of death for 5 people, including 3 children, found in a Morrisville apartment last month. 9-year-old twin sisters Imani and Erika Allen, 13-year-old Damon Decree Jr., and 25-year-old Naa'Irah Smith died by asphyxiation. 42-year-old Jamilla Campbell died from strangulation. The manner of death in each case is homicide. 46-year-old Shana Decree and 19-year-old Dominique Decree face 5 counts each of criminal homicide and 1 count of conspiracy. "The investigation into these murders continues with one goal: justice for five people killed in Bucks County," Deputy District Attorney Christopher W. Rees said. "We recognize that the public is very interested in this story and we are grateful for the community's support. In deference to this overwhelming tragedy, we ask that everyone respect the families' privacy as they continue to mourn their loved ones."

A car crashed through the front of a store in Hatboro early Friday morning, 3/29. It happened around 12:30 a.m. at the Jordan Alexander Boutique salon on the unit block of South York Road. The building sustained a lot of damage. Fire crews had to rescue the driver. Charges are pending the results of toxicology tests. There are apartments above the salon. Residents were jolted by the crash, but were not injured. Officials are examining the structural integrity of the building. The salon owner says they just did renovations, but looks like a lot of repairs will need to be made. She is thankful no one was hurt.
