A Philadelphia nurse has been charged in the death of H.R. McMaster Sr., the father of President Trump's former national security adviser. 30-year-old Christann Gainey is charged with involuntary manslaughter, neglect, and falsifying documents. 84-year-old McMaster Sr. died on April 13th at Cathedral Village, a senior care facility in the Roxborough neighborhood. He had been admitted there following a stroke on April 9th. On the evening of April 12th, McMaster was found on the ground as if he had fallen. There was blood on his head from a cut. The nurse aide helped him into his chair and notified Gainey. Investigators found that Gainey filled out a required neurological flow sheet as if she had checked on and performed tests on McMaster throughout the night. Surveillance video shows she did not perform any of them. She had even written in a check for a time after he had already passed. He almost 8 hours after the fall. Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro says that he died in "plain sight" and that "Gainey could have saved Mr. McMaster’s life if she simply had done her job."

Camden County officials are investigating after a toddler tragically died on Thursday, 5/10. It happened around midday on Marcia Court in Gloucester Township. One neighbor described how the mother rang her doorbell holding her unresponsive child saying her phone wasn't working and was having trouble calling 911. They performed CPR on the child until emergency crews arrived. Other neighbors describe the family as great with their kids and always playing outside. Authorities have not said how the child died. Officials were going in and out of the house removing evidence. The investigation is ongoing.

The body of a 12-year-old boy was recovered from a Burlington County lake after rescue crews searched for hours late Thursday afternoon. A group of kids were fishing off of the pier at Sylvan Lake when two boys fell in around 5 p.m. Only one of them resurfaced. Marine units found the other boy around 8 p.m. His identity has not been released.
