Philadelphia Police have arrested and charged two men in the shooting death of a teenage boy at a Chinese takeout restaurant last month. 19-year-old Tymear Johnson and 18-year-old Christopher Southerland are both charged with murder, criminal conspiracy and other related offenses. Johnson is accused of pulling the trigger and was arrested on Sunday. Southerland was arrested on March 22nd. It happened on March 10th inside a Chinese takeout on the 2000 block of Hunting Park Avenue. Police arrived to find 13-year-old Khisser Davis-Papther shot in the head. He was taken to Temple University Hospital before being transferred to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. He died from his injuries on March 19th. The incident was captured on the store's surveillance camera.

A Point Breeze man has been charged with the stabbing death of his wife. It happened in their home on the 1500 block of S. 19th Street on Friday afternoon. Police were called to the scene when the couple's son found his parents suffering from stab wounds in an upstairs bedroom. 67-year-old Anthony Potter had wounds to his chest and neck but was still alive. 63-year-old Robin Potter had multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The couple has apparently had domestic issues in the past. Anthony Potter is charged with murder and related offenses.

In a pretrial hearing today in Norristown, Montgomery County Judge Steven O'Neill say he expects the criminal case against Bill Cosby will last about two weeks. The jury will come from the Pittsburgh area in Allegheny County and will be sequestered for the duration of the trial. Jurors' names will not be made public. The defense wanted to be able to prescreen jurors with a special questionnaire asking about their background, media habits and feelings about Cosby. The judge said the standard 16-question state form would be followed by individual questioning in court. This afternoon the judge will rule on whether Cosby's deposition statements on quaaludes and references to 'Spanish fly' can be used in evidence. The trial is set to start June 5th, jury selection could start in late May.
