Philadelphia Police have arrested five high school females between the ages of 14-17 for three violent attacks on Temple University students last Friday night. The attacks happened along North 17th Street at around 6:00 pm. In one attack a 19-year-old old female Temple student was hit in the face with a brick by a 15-year-old girl. The victim suffered severe facial injuries and the girl is facing aggravated assault charges. Two other victims were punched. Surveillance video of the suspects was released leading some of the suspects to surrender and others to be identified through their high school. The DA expects to charge at least three others with assault.

A Delaware County school bus driver has been arrested after he ordered children, some as young as 5, to get off the bus blocks from their stops. 55-year-old Wesner Laventure, of the 3300 block of Laurel Road in Sharon Hill, is charged with Child Endangerment and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. A mother contacted authorities on Monday afternoon when her 5-year-old son didn't get off the bus at his stop. Authorities learned that 17 children were forced off the bus at various locations none of which were regular stops. Children were left lost and scared. Police patrol were able to locate the children. Laventure has been released after posting 10 percent of $20,000 bail. It is still under investigation.

Lab results have confirmed that a vial recovered inside the cover of a gas main last week in Hatboro tested positive for ricin. Hazmat crews returned to the area near Byberry Road and New Street on March 20th, a day after arresting 19-year-old Nicholas Todd Helman for sending a ricin laced card to his ex-girlfriend's current boyfriend. Helman is charged with attempted murder and other charges. He is currently being held without bail.
