iradiophilly was proud to LIVE broadcast from BOTH the World Meeting of Families Congress held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and the events during the Papal Visit weekend around Philadelphia.

Tuesday September 22nd through Friday September 25th the World Meeting of Families Congress had keynote and breakout sessions featuring prominent Catholic speakers talking on all aspects of faith and the family. Saturday September 26th and Sunday the 27th, Pope Francis visited Philadelphia and participating in several events, most notably his public address at Independence Hall, the Festival of Families, and the Papal Mass on the Ben Franklin Parkway. The Pontiff also celebrated mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, met with bishops at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, and visited Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility.

We carried all of the WMOF events on our two Live Broadcast stations. The stations will be available from this page and as menu options on our home page when we go live each day. You will also be able to listen on our free mobile apps.

Pope Francis will speak in front of Indepedence Hall in Old City on Religious Freedom and Immigration Saturday afternoon. The Festival of Families on the Parkway on Saturday evening will culminate with performances from world reknowned artists Aretha Franklin, The Fray, Juanes, Andrea Bocelli, and the Philadelphia Orchestra hosted by actor Mark Wahlberg. Sunday will wrap up the week with over a million attending mass said by Pope Francis.
