Wages of Spin II" Documentary Film Screening
Sat, Aug 23 2014, 2:00 pm - Sat, Aug 23 2014, 1:30 pm

Vinyl Revival, 35-37 N. Lansdowne Ave., Lansdowne
35-37 N. Lansdowne Avenue
Lansdowne, PA 19050

Vinyl Revival, 35-37 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Lansdowne, will hold one of the first local screenings of the documentary film, "Wages of Spin II," by Shawn Swords on Saturday, August 23rd at 12, 2 and 7 p.m.
"Wages of Spin II" continues to weave the narrative thread established with the acclaimed first installment, "Wages of Spin." In post-payola scandal America, the recording industry turned to new methods to game the free market of creative content in its favor. "Wages of Spin II" tells the story of crooked independent promotion men, organized crime infiltration into the record industry, the political players and White House circumvention of the Department of a Justice investigation into MCA, and much more.
Tickets are $8, $5 for students and seniors, and are available online at vinylrevivalrecords.com or in person at Vinyl Revival in advance and up to show time.
