A sixth person has come out alleging sexual abuse as a child at the hands of Daily News sports writer, Bill Conlin.

The Inquirer broke the original story Tuesday, reporting that three women and a man said that Conlin had abused them when they were children in the 1970s.

Prosecutors in Gloucester County, where some of the alleged abuse occurred, could not bring criminal charges because assaults before 1996 fall outside the statute of limitations.

Kim Jong Il, the 69 year old dictator of Communist North Korea, died on Saturday. The state run network said Kim died of "overwork" while "dedicating his life to the people." And the official news agency said Kim suffered "great mental and physical strain" while on a train. There was no independent confirmation of the circumstances reported by the government, which routinely touted the seemingly mythic achievements of the "Dear Leader" during his lifetime. It opened December 19th, 1991. The 21.5 mile highway connecting the Turnpike at Plymouth Meeting to 95 near Chester, took many more years to complete though. They idea for the road dates back to the late 20's and 30's. Plans for multiple routes, each with a different 'color code' were drawn up, with the 'blue' plan being the only one selected. The first ground was broken in 1969, but construction was halted and restarted many times through lawsuits and court actions. The western suburbs were in... Read More
