Philadelphia Tax Deadbeats Made Known |

The city of Philaldelphia yesterday continued its quest to publicly shame tax deadbeats as the Revenue Department showcased its latest list of 38 delinquent bums that owe a combined $5.5 million.
Philadelphia's top-three tax deadbeats, according to the city, include Workforce Culture Connections, Keystone Administrative Services and the Baker Funeral Home. Each owes more than $400,000.

The case captivated an audience for years. In the trial of Casey Anthony, the 25 year old single mom, charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee, the jury found Anthony not guilty of the most serious charges.

The Barnes Museum on Latch's Lane in Merion hosted its final visitors last weekend. For the first time since 1922, the galleries of the Barnes Foundation will no longer be open to the public. The rosters for this year's All Star Game have been released and the Phillies will be sending 4 players to Phoenix's Chase Field for next Tuesday's (July 12) game.
Placido Polanco was the leading vote getter at Third Base with 4,410,701 votes, 1,561,123 more votes than Braves 3B Chipper Jones. Polanco previously was an AL All Star at 2B for the TIgers in '09.
