Philadelphia Police are preparing for more unrest in the city on Tuesday night, 10/27, after protests turned into riots late Monday, 10/26, and overnight. They are placing resources and increasing officer presence at key locations. Protests grew into riots as demonstrators took to the streets in West Philadelphia on Monday night, 10/26. The crowds reacted after 27-year-old Walter Wallace Jr. had been shot and killed by Philadelphia police officers during a confrontation on Monday afternoon. A Delaware County pastor has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a teenage girl. 70-year-old Edward Lilly of Boothwyn was the pastor of the Christian Church of Chester and faces 22 counts. He first met the victim in 2017 when she was 16 and worked at a super market he frequented. He started grooming the girl by flirting and giving her gifts and cash. Philadelphia police officers shot and killed a man with a knife during a confrontation in West Philadelphia on Monday afternoon, 10/26. A teenager who was found shot at a state park in Bucks County over the weekend has died from his injuries. On Monday, 10/26, family confirmed that 18-year-old Jason Kutt succumbed to his injuries. It happened around 5:15 p.m. Saturday, 10/24, near the Old Ridge Road entrance to Nockamixon State Park near Quakertown. The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office says that a man and a woman have been arrested in the deadly shooting of two young brothers in their Trenton, NJ, home earlier this week. 26-year-old Dajuan Kelley of Ewing, NJ, and 29-year-old Destanie Ellis of Morrisville, PA, are each charged with two counts of first-degree murder and related charges in the deaths of 8-year-old Johnny Perez and his older brother, 16-year-old Gustavo Perez. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy was speaking at a workforce development event on Wednesday when he abruptly announced he had to leave and go into quarantine. He was notified that a member of his senior staff had tested positive for coronavirus COVID-19 and that he had recently been in contact with that person.
