Philadelphia Police and US Marshals have detained 23 year old Rafael Jones of North Philadelphia in connection with the murder of off duty police officer, Moses Walker. Jones failed to report to the probation office Wednesday and was arrested. Jones has a history of robbery and weapons arrests.

Philadelphia Police have taken a 'person of interest' into custody for the killing of Officer Moses Walker Jr. The unidentified man was arrested this afternoon around 3pm at the Bartram Village Apartments in Southwest Philadelphia after failing to report for a probation appointment. He was transported to the Homicide Unit and is currently being interviewed. He is being held on an outstanding bench warrant for missing that probation appointment. Philadelphia has the first independently run Catholic school system in the United States. Archbishop Charles Chaput signed a 5 year agreement with the recently formed, Faith in the Future, to manage Philadelphia's 17 high schools and 4 special eds. Grade schools will still be managed by the individual parishes.

Funeral arrangements have been set in place for Officer Moses Walker who was shot and killed during a robbery attempt early Saturday morning in North Philadelphia. Originally only fined for 5,000 Rubles ($150), the popstar is now being sued for moral damages by hardliners in Russia after the conviction of Pussy Riot. During a concert in St. Petersburg, Madonna showed her support for the LGBT community by saying “show your love and appreciation to the gay community.” Pink wristbands were distributed to attendees and Madonna wore a black bra with the words “No Fear” on her back.
