Penumbral Lunar Eclipse Plus Full Beaver Moon, Frost Moon in Philadelphia Skies Tonight, 11/29-30

Look up at the sky tonight and catch the Full Beaver Moon or Frost Moon. Early in the morning on Monday, November 30, there will also be a penumbral lunar eclipse. This occurs when the moon moves into the Earth's outer shadow, or penumbra. The moon will appear darker than usual, but not as dramatic as a total lunar eclipse or even a partial eclipse when the moon is covered by the Earth's inner shadow, or umbra.

Woman Settles With Wildwood Over Beach Arrest; Tornado Hits Montco; Man Charged Murder Of Infant

A Philadelphia woman has settled a federal civil lawsuit against the city of Wildwood after a violent beach arrest on Memorial Day weekend in 2018. Emily Weinman of Kensington will receive $325,000. The Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund, which represented the city, approved the settlement. The incident happened on Saturday, May 26, 2018, on the beach in Wildwood. New Jersey announced additional coronavirus COVID-19 restrictions on Monday, November 30, aimed at tightening the limits on gatherings. First, the limit on outdoor gathering size will only be 25 persons per event starting December 7. President-elect Joe Biden fractured his right foot on Saturday, 11/28, while playing with one of his dogs. It was initially thought to be a sprain. He went to Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists in Newark, Delaware, on Sunday, 11/29. Initial X-rays did not reveal any obvious fracture, but a subsequent CT scan found two tiny fracture of two small bones in the middle of the foot. Philadelphia Police have arrested a man for stalking and harassing multiple women on several different occasions on the streets in Old City. 32-year-old Steve Ditty is charged with stalking, simple assault and harassment.
