Temple, Villanova, and LaSalle all make the NCAA Tournament with at large bids. The Villanova Wildcats garnered a #9 seed and will play #8 North Carolina in the South Region on Thursday in Kansas City, MO. The Temple Owls also received a #9 seed and will play #8 NC State in the East Region on Friday in Dayton, OH. They will start in the “second” round. A NJ-bound PATCO train stopped on the Ben Franklin Bridge Saturday night shortly after 6 pm, stranding passengers above the Delaware River for more than an hour. Many of those passengers were reportedly visibly intoxicated and wearing their pre-St. Patrick's green attire. The inebriation of half the crowd did not help the frustration level, but neither did the communication of the status of the situation as passengers vented on Twitter about a lack of information. Dick's Standoff in Bucks County; 16 Ejected from NJ Transit; Fantasy Sports Betting in Atlantic City

An armed man has barricaded himself in the Dick's Sporting Goods in Falls Township, Bucks County, according to police. It started at around 7:30 pm when a man walked into the store at 150 Commerce Boulevard in Fairless Hills, stole multiples guns and ammunition from the firearms counter after pulling a handgun on the clerk and barricaded himself in the bathroom. The store and surrounding area has been evacuated and there have been no reports of injuries. He did not take any hostages.... Read More

Winter doesn't seem to want to quit in and around Philadelphia. We can expect a mix of wintry precipitation today with light snow leaving a slushy coating throughout the area through Sunday morning. Temperatures will be in the mid-30's. A storm coming across the country early next week is also expected to start out with a similar mix of rain/snow on Monday, but will change to a heavy rain by Tuesday.

Meek Mill Dispute Over Probation, Eagles Leaving Lehigh, Teachers Sentenced to House Arrest

A judge wants Meek Mill to work better with his probation officer to satisfy the Philly D.A. Meek Mill is 25 year old Robert Williams of North Philly, a rap phenom on the rise and his life is full of tours and appearances that often get changed at the last minute so he’s having trouble checking in. He is on probation from a 2008 drug and gun conviction. Judge Brinkley told Williams he needs to take off his Meek Mill hat and do what he is supposed to do.

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that they will not be returning to Lehigh University for training camp this year. The Eagles have been going to the Bethleham, PA campus for the past 17 years. Delaware Rapist Wanted, Point Breeze Shooting, Philadelphia Population Growth

Police in Delaware are searching for a man wanted for nearly 50 counts of rape. Police are investigating allegations made by a 16-year-old female, who said she had been raped by Wayne H. Thompson, Jr. multiple times over a four year period. The incidents apparently occurred while the girl was living with relatives in Mobile Gardens near Seaford.
