A frozen-solid dead humpback whale washed ashore on a beach in Ocean County on Christmas Day. The 31-foot, 15-ton was found on the beach in Barneget Light on Long Beach Island near the Barneget Inlet. Bon Schoelkopf, co-director of the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, said that the cause of death is unknown, but there are no signs of physical injury. The animal may have gotten ill. Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting incident early Christmas morning that left two dead and a third injured in Kensington. It happened around 12:30 a.m. on the 3300 block of Emerald Street. Two police officers responded to a call for a fight over a parking spot. A Delaware County man is accused of election fraud and illegal voting using his dead mother and mother-in-law's names. 70-year-old Bruce Bartman of Marple Township is charged with two counts of perjury and one count of unlawful voting.
