Last week Stephen Colbert, host of the popular satirical news show The Colbert Report; announced his second annual music festival.

Last year Stephen's Stephest Colbchella '011 Rock You Like a Thirsticane was a week of musical guests that he hosted on his show which included Jack White, Bon Iver, Florence and the Machine, and Talib Kweli. This is the first time he is taking his festival outside the studio.

October 8, 2012, Barbra Streisand kicking off perhaps her last tour in Philadelphia. She has not performed in North America in six years and, as of now, she is not planning on having more tours. Hopefully this is not the case considering she claimed that her tours of 2000 and 2006 would also be her last. Streisand has already lived a long full life as she just turned 70 years old this past April and has been honored with 10 Grammys, a Tony, 4 Golden Globes, an Oscar, and many other awards.... Randy Travis arrested for drunk driving

Randy Travis, one of country music's favorite sons, was arrested for drunk driving Tuesday and was released from jail on $21,500 bond Wednesday morning after a fan posted bail. In turns out this is Travis' second run in with the law this year. In February, he was arrested for public intoxication.

Travis was picked up on the side of the road in his crashed Pontiac Trans Am just outside Tioga, TX. He was found sleeping in his car and naked, reprovingly threatening to the police. ... Read More

Andy Reid was back in charge at Eagles Training Camp yesterday, the day after his son, Garrett Reid's funeral. And Andy will be on the sideline tonight for the Eagles pre-season opener at Lincoln Financial Field against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Eagles will wear Garret Reid's initials on the back of their helmets and Michael Vick has dedicated the season to Coach Reid's son.

Camden Police Dismantling, Kensington Factory Collapse, PHA Worker Jailed On Extortion

For two years, Camden's worked on plans to shake up the police force and create the Camden Metro Police Division, which would be run by the county. Last night the Mayor said a police layoff plan will be filed by the end of the month to fastrack the process. All 270 current officers could lose their jobs by the end of 2012, although the mayor says all will be eligible for almost 400 estimated new positions. The police union is considering legal action.

The daughter of the late Philadelphia Mayor, Frank Rizzo is under arrest along with her husband, as alleged ring-leaders in a multi-million dollar illegal sports gambling operation. Joseph and Joanna Rizzo Mastronardo and 14 others have been indicted. Agents found over $1 million in cash hidden in suspects' homes.

Temple University has elected a new president. He is former Indiana University Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Neil Theobald. Theobald is Temple's 10th president and will take over on January 1st. In addition to overseeing multi-billion dollar budgets, Theobald has a Ph.D. in education and has classroom experience as a professor.

Authorities are investigating a possible attempted child luring in Skippack last week. An 8 year old boy reported that while he was playing baseball along the side of his house, an older model Dodge Charger stopped on the street in front of his home. The driver then yelled over at the boy asking him to come closer to help find something for the driver. The boy ran into his home and told his mother what happened.

More than 900 people came to Broomall today to pay their respects to Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid and his family. Reid's oldest son, Garrett died suddenly last weekend.
