The Chester County Jazz Festival crowd got a special treat when Saturday headliner and Sax great, Warren Hill took the stage to join his daughter, 13 year old Olivia Rox for a few songs. Warren Hill who is a renowned saxaphone player, was not at all reluctant to take Olivia's sparkling pink guitar for a song, pictured.

After an outstanding opening last night by Peter White, the FREE weekend of live jazz is underway in Hoopes Park in West Chester. On stage now is Acoustic. Later tonight, headliner Warren Hill.

Earlier this week the School Reform Commission's search committee presented its two finalists for the job of Superintendent of the Philadelphia School District. They were Pedro Martinez of Las Vegas and William Hite from Prince George County, MD. It is being reported today that Martinez took the job of superintendent in Washoe County, NV. South Jersey man, Anderson Sotomayor, arrested for 6th DWI since April tonight after missing court.

Earlier today authorities issued a warrant after the South Jersey man charged with DUI 5 times over a five week period failed to show up for his court hearing.

Anderson Sotomayor, 45, was out on $20,000 bail as of Monday. He spent about a month in jail after his 5th DWI arrest May 16th because he was also caught with prescription Oxycodone pills. New Jersey legislators have approved a far-reaching reorganization of the state’s higher education system. But it does not include a plan to, in effect, merge the operations of Rutgers-Camden and Rowan Universities. The Supreme Court upheld President Obama's health care overhaul with a 5-4 vote today ruling that it was mostly ok. The biggest part of contention was the requirement that all people purchase health care - the individual mandate. The Phillies lost in a high scoring bout last night, 11-7. The loss was nothing new, especially in Citizens Bank Park this year, where the Phils have had horrible outings this year, but the way in which the game went possibly gave fans some light at the end of the tunnel. Chase Utley returned to the lineup for the first time since game 5 of the NLDS. If that wasn't good enough, he went 3-5 with a solo home run in his first at bat.
