The Keswick Theater was graced to host the Cyndi Lauper "She Is So Unusual 30th Anniversary Tour" last Friday Nov. 15th. Indeed it was a night where "Fans Just Want to Have Fun," was the operative description and we certainly did!

The 34-year-old hit .268 with five home runs and 37 RBIs in 92 games this past year after serving a 25 game suspension for amphetamines to start the season. The 20th Annual GORE-TEX Philadelphia Marathon is set to run this Sunday morning around the city of Philadelphia. Preparations are being finalized as tens of thousands of people are coming into the city to participate in the weekend long festivities. Federal officials declared the deadly building collapse in Philadelphia this summer "preventable." Yesterday they pointed to a string of failures in the planning and execution of the demolition triggering the disaster that claimed six lives. OSHA cited owners of two firms for safety violations noting that the project proceeded without an engineering survey.

Shainline Excavating Stolen Backhoe Recovered, Inquirer Publisher To Finish Out Contract

A Pennsylvania man has been jailed on charges he stole a backhoe from a suburban construction site then drove it about 30 miles to a scrapyard in Philadelphia where he intended to sell it. Police estimate it would have taken William Michael Pusey about 2½ hours to make the trip to Philadelphia from Shainline Excavating of Phoenixville, where the backhoe was stolen Sunday. The backhoe’s owner was able to locate it because of a global-positioning device in it.

Lower Merion Breakins Prompt Meeting with Police, Occupy Philadelphia Sues City

There have been over 200 break-ins in Lower Merion Township so far this year. Tonight police will host a meeting for concerned residents to discuss preventive measures. According to Lower Merion police, mornings are the time that many of the break-ins are happening.
