Moorestown Black Bear Sighting, Upper Chi Bus Crash Kills Driver, Pediatrician Fires Shots At Car

Residents in Burlington County have reported yet another bear sighting, this time in Moorestown. The black bear was seen at Strawbridge Lake between Nixon Drive and Haines Street on Tuesday morning. On Monday, the bear was spotted at about 11:30 a.m. near Route 38 and Church Street in Mt. Laurel. This incident marks the ninth bear sighting in the area in a week.

The death over the weekend of the girlfriend of Philadelphia defense attorney, Charles Peruto is still being investigated however police have reported they did not observe any signs of trauma or injury. Julia Law was found floating face down in a bathtub in Peruto’s condo at 20th and Delancey. Julia Law, also an employee of Peruto would have turned 27 today.

Fire officials say a two-year-old boy was seriously injured in a barbecue grill fire in New Castle, Delaware on Memorial Day on the 200 block of East Hazeldell Avenue in Minquadale. The fire began when a person used gasoline to start a barbeque grill. The gasoline vapors erupted into flames, burning the young boy who was nearby the grill.

No Bail for Faith Healing Couple; Sundrop Festival will go on Rain or Shine

The faith healing couple charged with murder in the death of their 7-month-old son have been ordered held without bail. Herbert and Catherine Schaible have been charged with third degree murder after their son died of dehydration and pneumonia. The Schaible's do not believe in modern medicine, only the power of prayer. Bridge Collapse in Washington, Sun Drop Music Festival in Philly, Big Lottery Winner in NJ Again

A portion of a busy bridge in Mount Vernon, Washington collapsed Thursday evening dumping several vehicles into the river below. The collapse happened on the Interstate 5 bridge over the Skagit River, north of Seattle. Three people were pulled from the water and taken to the hospital and authorities are still searching the waters below. So far, no word of fatalities.
