Police are now investigating after one man was left dead after a hit-and-run incident on the Schuylkill Expressway in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia. The victim, 30-year-old Sean Patrick Granger, was hit on the eastbound side of the highway on the Montgomery Drive off ramp at around 10:30 pm on Saturday. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a woman was found stabbed to death in her home in Montgomery County early Thursday morning. Troopers were called to the home on the 400 block of Abbey Lane in Perkiomen Township at 3:18 a.m. They found 54-year-old Annette House on the second floor with a knife in her chest. Christie Signs Bill, New Jersey Smoking Age 21; AG Sessions in Philadelphia; Sean Spicer Resigns

Governor Chris Christie has signed a bill that raises the smoking age in New Jersey from 19 to 21. The law bans sales of tobacco products and electronic cigarettes to anyone under the age of 21. Retailers can be fined up to $1000 for selling to an underage person. The Philadelphia Board of Pensions voted on Thursday to disqualify former District Attorney Seth Williams from collecting a pension. Williams resigned from his post on June 29th after he pled guilty to a single count of bribery in the middle of his federal corruption trial. The rest of his charges were dropped. Philadelphia officials have now voted and decided who will be the interim District Attorney to replace former DA Seth Williams. The panel of judges voted for former Assistant District Attorney Kelley Hodge, who received the most amount of votes among the four candidates up for the position. Chester Bennington, lead singer of band Linkin Park, was found dead in his home in the Palos Verdes Estates in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday morning. His body was discovered around 9 a.m. by an employee. He apparently committed suicide by hanging. Bennington was home alone, his family was out of town at the time. Bucks County authorities returned to the DiNardo farm property in Solebury Township on Thursday. There was a noticeable increase in activity on the property since last week when the bodies of 4 missing men were discovered buried. 20-year-old Cosmo DiNardo has confessed to the murders of the men. A 13-year-old boy is now in critical condition after severely injuring his leg when trying to jump onto a train. The incident happened just after 5 pm in North Philadelphia on Wednesday. Police say the boy was trying to jump onto a moving CSX train on the Conrail tracks. The boy was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, where he later had to have his leg amputated due to the severe leg injury. A married Pennsylvania couple has been sentenced to up seven years in prison for 'gifting' their six daughters to a Bucks County man who was found guilty of sexually assaulting them back in June. Former Philadelphia 76ers and LaSalle University basketball player Doug Overton pled guilty today to three counts of disorderly conduct. Back in April, Overton was arrested after being accused of exposing himself on the Cynwyd Heritage Trail in Lower Merion. Police received several calls about a man exposing himself along the trail.
