A Philadelphia police officer was shot and a suspect was killed in an exchange of gunfire during a traffic stop in North Philadelphia on Wednesday evening, 4/7. It happened around 6:45 p.m. on the 1500 block of West Somerville Avenue in the Logan neighborhood. Two officers pulled over a blue Kia Optima with three men and one woman inside. A former Bucks County detective is accused of a sexually abusing four teenage boys while he worked as a D.A.R.E officer decades ago. Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub announced the charges on Wednesday, 4/7, against former Warminster Township Police Officer James Carey. Carey, who turns 53 next week, was arraigned in Doylestown on Wednesday on at least 122 counts. Philadelphia Police have arrested a man accused of attacking and yelling racist remarks at a 64-year-old Asian man in the Chinatown neighborhood on Tuesday night, 4/6. It happened around 7:40 p.m. on the 300 block of N. 10th Street. Police were called by multiple people about the suspect attacking the man. The body of a missing pregnant mother from Upper Darby, Delaware County, was found dead in Philadelphia late Monday night, 4/6. Philadelphia Police and Upper Darby Police confirmed that 21-year-old Dianna Brice was discovered around 11 p.m. in a wooded area near 58th Street and Eastwick Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia. It started around 3:30 p.m. near Harding Highway and Cumberland Road. Police responded to the scene of a traffic accident involving a black pickup truck. Upper Darby police are searching for a young pregnant mother and her boyfriend who have not been seen since last week. 21-year-old Dianna Brice was last seen leaving the K Laundry in Lansdowne with 23-year-old Justin Smith around 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 30. In addition to being several months pregnant, Brice also has a 4-year-old son. She also has a medical condition that requires daily medication. A Delaware man was shot and killed at a Cherry Hill, NJ, apartment complex early Easter morning, 4/4. It happened around 4:30 a.m. in a parking lot at the Sergi Farms Apartments on the 1700 block of Abbey Road. Police found 64-year-old Leopold McKoy from Bear, Delaware, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene. If you have any information, call CCPO Det. iradiophilly is resurrecting an Easter Philadelphia radio tradition for the 10th straight year. iradiophilly will being playing the original theatrical Jesus Christ Superstar rock opera from the 1970 album in its entirety on one of its radio stations this Easter, April 4th.
