Philadelphia rapper Beanie Sigel (aka Dwight Grant) is in critical condition after being shot this morning in his home in South Jersey. It happened after 9:00 a.m. in the 800 block of Spruce Avenue in Pleasantville, NJ. 40-year-old Sigel had just returned from dropping his kids off at school when he was shot in the abdomen and the bullet exited through his back. NASA Mars Test Orion Launch; Christie Not Tied to Closure; Sex Predator Sought

This morning at 7:05 a.m. from Cape Canaveral, Florida, NASA successfully launched its new Orion spacecraft (pictured) on a mission that the US space agency hopes will foreshadow the first human expedition to Mars. The unmanned Orion capsule rose into clear skies on a four and a half hour test mission that could have huge implications on a plan that could have manned flights headed to Mars in the next 15 to 20 years. Radon Record Broken; Tynes Sentenced to 2 Years; US Army Ranger Faker

A Lehigh County home has broken the record for the highest concentration of radon ever measured in a Pennsylvania home. The home, which is in the Center Valley area, registered an astounding 3,715 picocuries per liter. The US Environmental Protection Agency recommends any home with more than 4 picocuries per liter of the cancer causing gas be remediated.

71-year-old former Philadelphia Traffic Court president judge Thomasine Tynes was sentenced today to two years in federal prison for lying to authorities in a broader ticket fixing scandal. Tynes was one of six former judges involved. Atlantic City's mayor heads to Trenton in search of help after his city lost jobs and revenues as the casino industry struggles. Mayor Don Guardian is slated to speak to an Assembly committee about the city's future and the gambling industry. Atlantic City has seen 8,000 workers lose their jobs so far this year after four of the city's 12 casinos closed.

Erica Ginetti, a high school teacher from Lower Moreland, has been fired after admitting she had sex with a student. The 34-year-old faces a maximum of seven to fourteen years in prison. She allegedly first began flirting with the student when she chaperoned his 2013 senior prom.

A lawsuit by a woman who claims Bill Cosby molested her when she was 15 years old has moved allegations of sexual misconduct against the comedian from the court of public opinion into the courthouse. Judy Huth's lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles accuses Cosby of forcing her to perform a sex act on him with her hand in a bedroom of the Playboy Mansion around 1974. She is the latest woman to accuse the comedian of sex abuse, and is the first one since 2005 to file a lawsuit.
