Philadelphia has announced that it will lift the ban on large events held in the city after Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf will significant lifting gathering restrictions in the state starting April 4. The Department of Parks and Recreation and the Office of Special Events will begin to accept permit applications starting Tuesday, March 16. Two men have been charged with assaulting U.S. Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick with bear pray during the U.S. Capitol riot on January 6. 39-year-old George Tanios of Morgantown, West Virginia, and 32-year-old Julian Khater of State college, Pennsylvania, were arrested on Sunday 3/14. The mother of a Bucks County teen girl is accused of creating and sending deepfake videos and photos of other girls on her daughter's cheerleading team in an effort to have them kicked off the squad. 50-year-old Raffaela Spone is charged with multiple counts of cyber harassment of a child and harassment. Lower Southampton Police are looking for the public's help in identifying two people who stole food and beer from a supermarket last weekend in Bucks County. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy said that he supports making changes to the state's new marijuana laws that would allow police to contact an underage person's parents the first time they are caught with alcohol, pot, or another drug.
