A Montgomery County dad shared his letter to the Principal on Facebook and it has gone viral. Mike Rossi from Montgomery County took his wife and two kids with him while he ran the Boston Marathon. When they returned home, there was a letter from Rydal Elementary School saying the children's absences would be recorded as Unexcused. Rioters have caused chaos, panic, and havoc throughout Baltimore on Monday following the funeral of a young man who died last week in police custody hours after being arrested. Two teenagers have been arrested and charged in the shooting death of a food delivery driver last week in Northeast Philadelphia. 49-year old Rendong Zheng was delivering food to the to the Hill Creek Apartments in the 500 block of Hill Creek Road in Crescentville section on Thursday night. Hazmat crews are on the scene of a collision between a tractor trailer and a tanker truck in Lower Providence Township. The tractor trailer was carrying printing ink and supplies while the tanker was carrying sewage waste. The contents of both vehicles spilled onto S. Park Avenue located between Eagleville Road and Falcon Road. One of the trucks also caught on fire.

Four children were rescued on Sunday after Philadelphia Police say they were locked in a basement since Saturday. Police responded to a home on the 1900 block of E. Atlantic St. around 1:30 on Sunday afternoon. Authorities had to use force to enter the home through a second-floor window. When authorities gained entry they found a 13-year-old boy, a 12-year-old girl, a 10-year-old girl and a nine-year-old girl locked in the basement of the home. Four children were rescued after being locked in the basement by their mother. Police responded to a house on the 1900 block of E. Atlantic St. in Kensington around 1:30 pm Sunday after receiving a 911 call from one of the trapped children.
