A brawl in Darby Borough led to a gunman firing 6 shots from a handgun. The incident happened yesterday afternoon at Greenway and Third Street in Darby Borough. Police say a man pulled out a gun and fired 6 rounds with little kids playing in the area. Police say at least one bullet went into a home. No one was hit and police are searching for the gunman.

Pope Francis is coming to Philadelphia at the end of September. Philadelphia's Archbishop Charles Chaput says he hasn't received the official word yet from the Vatican, but he’s already planning on hosting Pope Francis at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Lower Merion. Chaput says it's customary for the pope to stay with the bishop of a diocese when he visits. There is a Great White Shark lurking in the waters off the Jersey Shore. The shark was caught, tagged with an electronic tracker and released in 2012 in Cape Cod. Since then, the shark, named Mary Lee after the mother of OCEARCH expedition leader Chris Fischer, has been tracked swimming nearly 20,000 miles out to the middle of the Atlantic, to Bermuda, near Delaware and Maryland. Teenage fugitive Haseem Singletary has turned himself in to police. The 16-year-old was accompanied by his family and lawyer, Bill Brennan, when he walked into Southwest Detectives late Thursday night. The teen has been wanted since Wednesday when he escaped from private contractors that were hired to transport him from Florida to Philadelphia. Police say Singletary has a long criminal record. British crooner Sam Smith will have to undergo vocal cord surgery after suffering a hemmorrhage while on tour in Australia last week. It happened during a show in Sydney on April 28th. He posted this message on his facebook page: "I am very upset to announce I have been battling to get my vocal cords better the last 10 days. Philadelphia Police have announced charges against a teenager in the hit-and-run accident last week that has left a Temple University student in the hospital. 18-year-old Robert Roberts was driving his father's 2012 silver Mitsubishi when he hit 22-year-old Rachel Hall riding her bike at the at the intersection of Park Ave. and Diamond Street around 7pm on April 29th. Police say an officer and three others were injured during an accident early Thursday morning in the Kingsessing section of Philadelphia. This happened around 2 a.m. at 58th Street and Woodland Avenue. A car struck the police SUV after one of the vehicles ran a red light while the officer was responding to a call. A water main break sent a geyser of water shooting high into the air from the middle of the street this afternoon in Montgomery County. It happened around 1:30 pm on the 600 block of Ashbourne Road near Rolling Green in Cheltenham Township. An 8 in. main broke and a 30 foot fountain of water erupted from the pavement for over 30 minutes before crews were able to shut off the water.
