A child fell off a wooden roller coaster at an amusement park in Westmoreland County in western Pennsylvania on Thursday afternoon. It happened around 12:20 p.m. at the Idlewild Park and Soak Zone in Ligonier, PA, about and hour southeast of Pittsburg. The boy was on the coaster with his brother when he fell. The federal government has charged a former NFL player with allegedly defrauding investors out of more than $10 million. Merrill Robertson Jr. was arrested on Wednesday on criminal charges related to fraud, according to a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. Woodstock St. Police say the girl suffered a gunshot wound under her left arm.
